Melting in January 2012

January 5, 2012 brought great news from mom and dad. They both will be in the same room at the nursing home.

Today it was +7 and Assiniboine Park was packed with families and individuals skating, and sledding. It was wonderful feeling the warmth of the sun and smiling faces of children and adults experiencing the outdoor activities that we used to do when we were children. Apparently we broke a 28 year record of warm temperatures.
